          Hironobu Machida

          Chief Engineer

          Hironobu Machida has more than 11 years of research experience in thermal storage materials at Panasonic. His research is mainly focused on clathrate hydrate materials for cooling purposes. He holds a PhD in Engineering from Waseda University. He also has certification as a Professional Engineer, Japan (Inorganic Chemistry & Ceramics).

          Motohiro Suzuki

          Manager

          Motohiro Suzuki has more than 25 years of research and development experience in Panasonic corporation. His research and development mainly focused on thermal storage materials in the national project on innovative thermal management materials and technologies by NEDO for the last 8 years. He has a Master of Engineering from Tokyo Institute of Technology.

           

          Jumpei Harada

          Deputy Manager

          Jumpei Harada has 8 years of experience in the intellectual property field in Panasonic. He started working in Panasonic R&D Center Singapore from April 2019 and started open innovation activity through utilising IP & Tech assets in the South East Asia region. He holds a master's degree in engineering from Kyoto University and registered as a patent attorney of Japan.

          Naotsugu Koashi

          Chief Intellectual Property Specialist

          Naotsugu Kaoshi has 15 years of experience in Panasonic's intellectual property business in the fields of cogeneration systems, IoT, and other technologies. He has been involved in intellectual property incubation activities from the basic research stage to the business growth stage. He holds a master's degree in engineering from Kyoto University. He is in charge of new business areas in Panasonic Appliances Company.

          Atsushi Watanabe

          Staff Intellectual Property Specialist

          Atsushi Watanabe has 24 years of experience in Panasonic's intellectual property business in various technical fields such as devices, equipment, systems and software. He is mainly in charge of patent application and patent rights acquisition procedures and aims to create new businesses that utilize patents. He holds a Master of Engineering degree from Hokkaido University.
